  • With our saxophone electrode one of the safest systems for the continuous neuromonitoring of the recurrent laryngeal nerve is available. Particular, in the case of procedures caused by relapses the new technique, in which the vagus nerve is permanently stimulated outside the direct surgical field, brings additional security.

The new saxophone electrode surrounds the nerve and adapts itself perfectly to the shape of the anatomical structures. Due to the flexible, open design and the incorporated electrodes there is no risk of harming the nerve. Nevertheless, the saxophone electrode surrounds the vagus nerve close enough to ensure a reliable stimulation without slipping.
