Access to and storage of information in terminal equipment

By using our website, access to information (e.g. IP address) or storage of information (e.g. cookies) in your terminal equipment may occur. This access or storage may involve further processing of personal data pursuant to the GDPR.

In cases where such access to information or such storage of information is strictly necessary for the technically error-free delivery of our services, this is done on the basis of § 25 para. 1 s. 1, para. 2 no. 2 TTDSG.

1. Automated data collection and processing

As with all websites, our server automatically and temporarily collects and stores information in the server log files transmitted by the browser, unless this is disabled by you (legal basis is article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). This includes, for example, the IP address of the requesting computer, the http response code, the website from which you are viewing our content, the time of the server request as well as the browser type, browser version and operating system used by the requesting computer.

A person-related evaluation of the server log files is not carried out. This data can never be associated with specific persons by the provider. This data is not merged with data from other sources.

2. Contact form and contact by email

If you send us requests via our contact form or email, your details from the contact form or email, including the contact data you have provided there, will be stored for the purpose of processing your request and in the event of follow-up questions. You are required to provide an email address to contact us. Your name and telephone number are optional[A1] . Under no circumstances will we pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and, if applicable, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided that your request is aimed at concluding a contract. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary. You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time in the case of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

3. Retention period

Personal data provided to us via our website will only be stored until such time as the purpose for which they were entrusted to us has been fulfilled. Where commercial and tax retention periods have to be observed, the storage period for certain data can be up to 10 years.

4. Postal Advertising

We collect contact data made freely available on the Internet from companies potentially interested in our products in order to send these contacts advertising for our products and services by mail. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest here is the expansion of the customer base and the associated increase in sales as well as the personalized contact with decision-makers at the potential customer.

You have the right to object to processing for the purpose of such advertising at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. If you object to processing for the purpose of direct advertising, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes. You can object at any time by sending an e-mail to [e-mail].

We will store the data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose or until the processing of the personal data is objected to. As soon as the purpose of the processing has been achieved or has ceased to exist, or the processing has been objected to, the personal data will be deleted.

5. Cookies

The website uses cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in your browser's cache. The cookies are used in particular to identify the internet browser. Cookies are used for session control and statistical evaluation. These cookies do not contain any personal data. You can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on the hard disk or cookies that have already been stored are deleted. Please follow the instructions of your browser's help function regarding the blocking and deletion of cookies. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

6. Google Ads

We use "Google Ads" on our website, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Ads is used by us for marketing and optimisation purposes, in particular to display ads that are relevant and interesting to you.

If you have given us your consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, we can use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers by using advertising material on external websites. This enables us to determine how successful individual advertising measures are.

These advertising media is delivered by Google via so-called "AdServers". We use AdServer cookies for this purpose, through which certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of the ads or clicks by users, can be measured.

If you reach our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually expire after 30 days. They are not intended to identify you personally. The following information is usually stored as analysis values for this cookie: Unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions), opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be contacted). These cookies enable Google to recognize your web browser. If a user visits certain pages of an ad client's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not expired, Google and the client will be able to tell that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. A different cookie is associated with each ad client. As a result, cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of ad clients. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the advertising measures mentioned above. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. By means of these evaluations we can recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material, in particular we cannot identify the users on the basis of this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of Google Ads. To the best of our knowledge, Google receives the information that you have called up the relevant part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you have a user account with Google and are registered, Google can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Google will find out and save your IP address.

To guarantee this, we have concluded standard contractual clauses with the provider in accordance with Art. 46 Para. 2 lit. c GDPR. In cases in which this cannot be guaranteed even by this contractual extension, we endeavour to obtain additional regulations and commitments from the recipient in the U.S.

7. Google Ads Remarketing

Our website uses Google Ads Remarketing. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Provided you have given us your consent, this tool enables the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing to be linked with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a GDPR. This means, interest-related, personalised advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behaviour on one end device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g. tablet or PC).

If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalised advertising messages can be displayed on every end device on which you log in with your Google account.

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects authenticated IDs of users that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create audiences for cross-device ad targeting.

As there is a transfer of personal data to the USA, further protection mechanisms are required to ensure the level of data protection of the GDPR. To ensure this, we have agreed standard data protection clauses with the provider in accordance with Art. 46 (2) lit. c GDPR. These oblige the recipient of the data in the USA to process the data in accordance with the level of protection in Europe. In cases where this cannot be ensured even through this contractual extension, we endeavour to obtain additional regulations and commitments from the recipient in the USA.

8. Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, an internet analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" and web beacons.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website and to create reports on website activity. Google will also use this information to provide the website operator with further services related to the use of the website and the internet. The IP address sent by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. We use Google Analytics only with activated IP anonymisation. This means that your IP address will only be further processed by Google in abbreviated form.

We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement with the service provider in which we oblige him to protect the data of our customers and not to pass them on to third parties.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. User and event-level data associated with cookies, user IDs (e.g., User ID), and advertising IDs (e.g., DoubleClick cookies, Android Advertising ID, IDFA) will be deleted no later than 14 months after collection.[A1] 

You can prevent cookies from being saved by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly. 9. Google Maps

Our homepage uses the online map service provider Google Maps via an interface. Provider of the map service is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and makes it easy for you to use the map function. To use the functionalities of Google Maps it is necessary to save your IP address.

Google uses Cookies, to collect information about user behaviour. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your given consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR.

10. Google Tag Manager

This website uses the Google Tag Manager of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). This service allows website tags to be managed through an interface. The Google Tag Manager only implements tags. This means that no cookies are used and only the user's IP address is transmitted to Google to establish a connection. The Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made on domain or cookie level, it will remain for all tracking tags as long as they are implemented with the Google Tag Manager.

We use the Google Tag Manager on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

As the IP address is transferred to Google in the USA, further protective mechanisms are required to ensure the level of data protection under the GDPR. In order to guarantee this, we have agreed standard data protection clauses with the provider in accordance with Art. 46 Para. 2 lit. c GDPR. These clauses oblige the recipient of the data in the USA to process the data in accordance with the level of protection in Europe. In cases in which this cannot be guaranteed even by this contractual extension, we will endeavour to obtain additional regulations and commitments from the recipient in the USA.

11. Google Conversion Tracking

In order to measure the effectiveness of our Google advertisements, we use the conversion tracking function of Google, Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland.

By measuring the conversions of our ads, we can measure how often a certain desired action on our website ("conversion") takes place after clicking on one of our ads on other websites. This desired action can be, for example, subscribing to a newsletter or scheduling an appointment.

When you click on one of our advertisements, a conversion cookie is stored on your device by Google. In addition, we have included a so-called "conversion tracking tag" on our website. If you reach our website through one of our ads and the desired conversion action is performed, Google recognizes the cookie again through the conversion tracking tag and saves the action as a successful conversion.

We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of Google Conversion Tracking. To our knowledge, Google receives the information that you have called up our ad and performed the conversion action. If you have a user account with Google and are registered, Google can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Google will find out and store your IP address.

We use the conversion tracking only on the legal basis of your voluntary consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a GDPR.

The conversion cookie has a storage period of 30 days.

To ensure this, we have agreed standard data protection clauses with the provider in accordance with Art. 46 (2) c GDPR. These oblige the recipient of the data in the USA to process the data in accordance with the level of protection in Europe. 12. YouTube

On our website we embed videos from "YouTube", a social media platform of Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your given consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR.

If the display of the embedded YouTube videos is started by your consent, the provider "YouTube" uses cookies to collect information about user behaviour. According to information from "YouTube", these serve, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive behaviour. If you are logged in to Google, your information is associated directly with your account when you click on a video. If you do not want your profile to be associated with YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores this data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its websites. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for the purpose of presenting need-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. 13. LinkedIn Insight

We use conversion tracking technology on our website as well as the retargeting feature of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

This allows us to serve personalized ads to visitors to our website on LinkedIn. For this purpose, a cookie, LinkedIn Insight tag, is set in your browser with a validity of 120 days. This cookie enables LinkedIn to recognize you if you visit this website and are simultaneously logged in to your LinkedIn account. LinkedIn uses this data to generate anonymous reports on ad performance and website interaction information. The information generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a server in the USA and stored there.

14. Facebook Pixel

We use "Facebook Pixel" on our website, a service of Facebook Inc, 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, USA (hereinafter referred to as: "Facebook").

Provided you have given us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, we use Facebook Pixel for marketing and optimisation purposes, in particular to place relevant and interesting advertisements on Facebook and thus improve our offer, make it more interesting for you as a user and avoid annoying advertisements.

Facebook Pixel enables Facebook to display our ads on Facebook, so-called "Facebook Ads" only to those Facebook users who were visitors to our website, in particular those who showed interest in our online offer. In this case, Facebook Pixel also enables us to check whether a user was redirected to our website after clicking on our Facebook Ads. Among other things, Facebook Pixel uses cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your web browser on your end device. 15. IONOS WebAnalytics

Our website uses IONOS WebAnalytics, an internet analysis service provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur. IONOS WebAnalytics uses so-called "pixels".

WebAnalytics will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, and compiling reports on website activity. Google will also use this information to provide the website operator with other services related to the use of the website and the internet. The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR based on the consent you have given.

• Time of access
• IP address in anonymised form (only used to determine the location of the access).

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Deletion of user and event level data linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. User ID) and advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID, IDFA [Apple identifier for advertisers]) will take place no later than 14 months after collection.

16. TeamViewer

If you wish, we can use the TeamViewer tool to solve problems. TeamViewer is a product of TeamViewer Germany GmbH, Bahnhofsplatz 2, 73033 Göppingen. A data processing agreement has been concluded with TeamViewer.

In this case, your PC is remotely controlled by one of our employees in order to solve your support request or technical problem. Should personal data be disclosed in this process, which is not required for the fulfilment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, the disclosure is based on the data processing agreement concluded between us.

17. SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address line in the browser changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.
When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the information you submit to us cannot be read by third parties.
