The EANS Congress is the highlight and the largest event in the association’s extensive educational program. With over 2,000 participants from Europe and around the world, the annual EANS Congress serves as the central gathering place for the European neurosurgical community and acts as a bridge between European neurosurgery and all continental neurosurgical societies.
Held annually in a different European city, the EANS Congress provides a platform for the presentation, discussion, and recognition of current research findings. Each year, the Congress focuses on a different theme and explores all aspects of neurosurgery and its significance for patients.
The annual EANS Congress is open to all neurosurgeons and related professionals at all levels of training who wish to further their scientific and professional development. It is regarded as an event that promotes and strengthens research, collaboration, and solidarity among colleagues and dedicated researchers. It serves as a platform that fosters responsibility, perseverance, and resilience among neurosurgeons—values that also form the motto of our 2026 Congress.
